The Yangtze Finless Porpoise is a small marine mammal that is a vertebrate. They have no dorsal fin or a beak like mouth. They are a part of the Neophocaena classification in the animal kingdom. They are a freshwater porpoise.
Diet
They are carnivores, although they are also believed to eat plants. They mainly eat fish, crustaceans, and cephalopods.
life cycle and reproduction
There life expectancy is about 10 to 30 years. The finless porpoise is pregnant for 10 to 11 months. The babies get their moms milk from 6 months to a year. The porpoise is able to give birth at 4-6 years. The baby baby swims with its mother until it is fully mature.
Behavior
They are mainly swimming around trying not to get hit by boats and may be looking for food. They also act different during mating season like any other animal.
